ANIMO is a magical creature stuck between worlds. It’s my alter ego and my co-author. It animates my ceramic fantasies, turning them into conductors of warmth and comfort, creating the magic of a close friend’s presence in your home.
I create objects that balance between pop-culture appeal and the existential longing “not to be alone.”They are often very tactile, cute, and friendly, as if seeking interaction with the viewer. In my work, I use different materials, concise shapes, and bright color solutions in rather unconventional ways. The synergy of all things simple gives rise to a cohesive phenomenon with its own character.
